I have straight cut w/rain caps. but if you no its going to rain then put jugs over them and take them off when your going to drive or just get rain caps made for miter cut stacks.

Or you could drill a lil hole in the bottom of the bend and it will drain there. Mine just leaks out where I got the 90 joined to the straight pipe with a band-clamp.

Exactly what 00BRam said, when I had mine I just drilled about a 1/8th hole down at the elbow, unless you just want coffee cans on top of your stacks.

if you don't cover them it will make a mess when it rains and you start it... even if you drill a hole.. water is still going to get all the soot wet in the stacks and in bed pipe. trust me it's rained for the past couple of days hard and my truck looks like someone dumped black paint all of the hood cab and bed sides and mine is silver on top and green one the sides.

Gotta love the soot spots! I get them with snow and rain... and so do the cars next to me I just built a set of vinyl covers for mine that have an elastic fit so they don't blow off. I put them on if it's going to rain or snow a lot.
