missing when first started

missing when first started
ok i have had this miss for about a year been to dealer twice. it only does it when the motor is cold. i have 350.000 miles on it. any sujestions were i should go from here. just put new lift pump in it new fuel filter. thank for the help.

Think the key word here is cold. A diesel engine needs warm cylinders to run correctly.
I don't think you have a problem at all, it's just the nature of the beast compounded by the age of the engine.
