miss with predator??

Does anyone else get a miss with the predator about every half hour or so? It's like the truck shuts off for about a millisecond and starts back up. I couldn't be happier with the predator otherwise, also it doesn't matter which program I have it on it is just not as noticeable on the lower programs. The miss is rather aggressive when it picks back up so it kind of worrys me, any suggestions would be great?? No CEL, but I haven't checked for codes.

At about 97k miles, mine developed a miss. It was slow to develop but by the time I got it to the dealer (3 days / ~400 miles), it was missing pretty badly. The CEL came on towards the beginning, but not at the very beginning. The codes related to #1 stick.

Turns out #1 died in the off position. Warrantee took care of it and now I'm closing in on 120k miles.

It's definitely more than one cylinder, when it misses. It's more like there is no fuel for a full rev, then it comes back in hard.

catcracker, did it happen with in town or highway driving?
I didn't notice it with in town driving, but I took a 200 mile trip yesterday and it did this about 5 times on the way.

I guess I will talk to diablosport tomorrow if no one else has already

Yes, yes, yes.... Same problem here. It started to happen after update to latest version. It seems as the truck shuts off, but I think, (it does not happen very often ), that is actually unlocks and locks back the TC in a split of a second, thats why you feel the jolt.

Would they give any info on how soon the update will be released?

All I could get out of them the last time I talked to them on the rough idle issue was "We're working on it"

Same here "We're working on it"

It will probably take some time as I was told first they have to bring the truck back in......

I have my predator set on the 60hp tune. I've had it on for about 2 weeks. The only problem is at idle. It is real smooth then all of the sudden it gets rough. When I drive it is fine. The exhaust note is pretty wierd also. Before I put the predator on the exhaust sounded like a Diesel with an exhaust, now it sounds like a big block V8. Any opinions.

It seems there is still a lot of idling problems, me included. And I would be willing to bet if you turned it up on the extreme tune you would notice the miss everyone else is describing. I have been running the 90 hp tune lately and its hardly noticeable, the 90 hp tune is awesome because I get close to 24 mpg highway.

None here. I noticed my truck vibrates a tiny bit more at idle but it idles just fine. I read that they are working on the problem but they have no trucks there in Florida that have the issues so they are having a difficult time diagnosing what's causing it...

Rough idle at times on 3 different 06 and 07 trucks. Worse idle on the 07 trucks mine is one of them feels like truck has a cam at times. They all are doing the surging deal not sure if its a fuel problem and truck is missing or if it is the torque converter which we thought it was we are all running the latest updated version. Mine is back to stock now and still doing it so not sure what to do my buddy suggested putting the bullydog on it and just selecting the stock option to upload their program into it and see if that works. Two of the trucks are seeing injector problems now and not sure if diablo is the cause or not. Diablo told us that they were working on both the surging and idle problems and hope to have a solution soon and i hope they hurry up but i love everything else about the program aside from those to problems.
