mirror wiring

I just put on a set of KOOL-VUE mirrors on my truck and now I need to wire them in . My truck didn't have power mirrors . I found a switch for a 2000 but sofar the only wire harness I can find is for a 1997 . I hope you guys can tell me if this combo will fit . Thanks . Craig

If you have power/heated you should be able to just plug them in . My truck didn't have power so I'm trying to cobble up a system with boneyard parts .
I bought mine at partstrain.com , good service and the best price I could find . Good luck

The 97 and earlier didn't have heat IIRC. The 2nd gen wiring harness that comes w/ the koolvues plugs right into the 98 and ups. I have read the 97 and downs need a retro fit. Somebody around these pages makes or knows where to get a conversion plug but its been a while since I saw any banter on that.
Luck

Kurt
