Mirror vibration

I have A 04.5 Ram and have A problem with my passenger side mirror (only the glass part) vibrating constantly while I'm traveling down the road like there is something loose or broke inside the housing. Can anyone tell me how to disassemble the mirror to repair it or will I have to replace the whole thing. I took it to the dealer with my 70,000 mile extended warranty but they said it did'nt cover trim and the mirror was considered trim.

Replaced my passenger mirror under warranty... Now it's doing it again. I'll just live with it.

I don't see how a mirror is considered trim. I would ask to see it in writing.

I know you 3rd gen guys aren't gonna believe me, but I had the same problem with my "99" until I added glass balancing beads to the tires. Smoothed them right out. Balancing the tires helps, but as soon as you get some dirt, stones, tire wear, the tires are out of balance again. Even the balancer could be out of calibration. These beads constantly balance your tires.

Try some balancing beads.

Yes you can warrenty them out, if you still have one.

I adjusted the mirrior until I could see behind it, then you can see 3 (I think it was 3) metal tabs that support the mirrior, and keep tension aginst it.
I put a screw driver back there and bent them in more and it stoped the mirrior from shaking.
I did this only about 300 miles ago, but it stoped shaking!
