Just bought replacement mirror glass for my pass. side heated, remote mirror. Any tips on how to get the old one out? I see the tabs, but it just doesn't pop off..don't want to break anything.

Since no one wrote back, I just went for it....you tilt it all the way back, then push it up from the bottom, you will feel it release, then pull the bottom out..came out no sweat...dealer had me petrified, telling me everyone breaks them..was very easy.<><

A note to all who need replacement heated glass elements for their mirrors. I have had one in my garage for 6 months that I bought from the local Dodge dealer. Part no. 1-05019893AA My truck is an '01 Ram 2500 Sport. The part was only about $25.00. I just don't know exactly how to change the thing. After reading the post here, I'm going to try it. lol Brent
