I've averaged 15 MPG with mine, but i am sure the lift, tires, and mostly city driving have driven my mileage down. Before the lift and tires I was able to get a tad over 18 MPG once on a long trip driving 63 MPH.

05 model 2WD and I get an honest 22.5 hand calculated on a trip not towing anything running 60/65 mph. Local running around I get 18. Pulling a 24ft low profile 5th wheel I get 16/17

Speed is everything when it comes to mpg!!!!!!!!

My last 2 tanks running empty have been 20.9 and 21.5 mpg hand calculated.
That is the best I can do. Overhead showed 22.5 or so.

To get that mileage with mine requires careful driving, tires at 75+PSI and coasting when i can. I only exceed 65 when coasting down a 6%

A couple of years ago we made a 3600 mile road trip with our Lance slide in and averaged 15.2 mpg hand calculated. Same strategy as above.

My 2007 Q/cab 3500 4x4, 3.73 gears, 48re, stock tires.

Overhead reads as follows:

Empty on highway = 18.3 mpg

Empty in town = 15.6 mpg

Loaded pulling 10,000 lbs Desert Fox = 11.2 mpg

16.8 tops on overhead. 2006 4x4 3500 MEGA CAB. I bought this truck because I was told 20 plus. What a let down. Usually get about 14.5 babying it.

If you were told 20+ i think they were lying to you. Had a buddy that went to the Ford dealership to purchase a 6.4 and they are claiming 18-20? They will say anything to sell the truck, i can't stand that they are allowed to do this since these trucks are not required to post any mileage information...

The overhead is not accurate, and gets worse with mods. Mine says I am getting 23 but my calculator says 15

Back and forth to work, about 5 miles at 70-55 MPH and about 5 miles at 45-30 MPH through town, I am averaging about 18-18.5 MPG

Haven't gotten a chance to check hwy mileage since Smarty Junior and Scotty III
