Has anyone added a shoulder seatbelt to the center seat in a 2nd gen reg. cab truck? I would like to put one in mine, I like my daughter riding there instead of by the door. I would think I can do this, just not sure about the parts.

It is highly NOT reccomended since the seat will not lock in the upright position. Read the info in the owner's manual regarding this.

I didn't think of that. You're right, I have been out thinking myself on this one. I really don't need to do this, my daughter hardly ever rides in my truck anyway, and adding a non-factory seatbelt probably ain't the smartest idea I have ever made! Thanks, I'll leave it alone.

That's a really uncomfortable seat anyway. I had two friends ride with me for 120 miles--the girl in the middle seat about had a conniption fit it was so uncomfortable.

Yessir it is, but my little girl is still in her booster seat, so she's got a little more padding. I'll just leave well enough alone, we take my wife avalanche most of the time anyway. It's way better for trips and stuff like that, got the tv and 4 doors!

I wish they put a shoulder belt in the rear center for that same reason.....
