I would think breakup is just around the bend? I've heard bans are on in the County of Red Deer already and down south-if the weather stays like this there will be a pile coming on Monday. There are a couple of new drills down here that they hammered on to get punched before breakup-but it's looking like they may be SOL to get a service rig on if they don't hustle it....

Won't affect me personally too much as the area where I work is the land that time forgot as far as new drills/recomps etc. go-and we're mostly shallow gas so we don't have a pile of fluid to haul on the bans. I used to dread this time of year when I drove tank truck though-work load went through the roof and days off went into the dumper....

Andy-I'm honestly not sure what will work as I am (relatively) actively seeking new employment right now and not sure where I will end up or what I will be working shift-wise. Hoping to be flipping weekends around as I was forced a year ago to switch shifts putting me on the opposite weekend of everyone else in my family and quite a few of my buddies...which quite frankly sucks. [roll] So planning around me might not be in everyone's best interests! [laugh]

On the subject of fuel prices, assuming I am still around at the next safety meeting I will be running the flag up the pole again for a fuel surcharge for us poor old contractors again-they seem to have buried their heads in the sand and have been rumbling there will be no raises this year-so there should be a fuel bump...

Hopefully we can get something lined up where we can all get together and BS a little for old times' sake...

Where do you guys want to met at? What time? We can use my house as long you guys don't laugh at my pile of junk to hard. I might have to showup with my 300, at least its still a dodge. Any body want to try out a set of BD-125 that I have. Its for a 24valver. We can try an injector swap on a rig that want to try them out.

Might just work for me too....I have to swap out rear springs, front control arms and the bearing in my DSS sometime this days off-maybe wire my 4x4 indicator light back in after removing my CAD and change the plug for my reverse light switch---and see what else has torn off or gotten smashed over the last shift.... [laugh]

If somebody wants to swap injectors, I can bring some goodies-I bought the factory Miller injector puller which looks like it will work real nice for the back 2 cylinders. Could bring my DRB too if somebody wants some diagnostics....

The original 3B is still on the truck but I have a spare you guys to look at.

I just finished up my garrett/BTH-3B twins today. The truck spools the turbo pretty quick and the little bit of driving I've done, I'm guessing that my EGT's have also dropped. I haven't installed my boost regulator in yet.

Yeah, I know....I'm more into mileage now than power-but I do have a dyno sheet floating around somewhere from a long long time ago at PAAL for 468hp....
Should still be capable of north of 400 with the Mach 1.6's, DragCOMP and Smarty stack if my poor old-school PDR HX40 can keep up-I'm pretty sure the stock lift pump cannot for any period of time. [laugh] The OFE clutch limits my power output too...

Mike, if you decide to get Jamie's IP, let me know. I'm gonna be picking up that engine from him, I'm sure I could haul a VP as well. That will be after I fiinish on this unit, so somewhere between 14 and 18 days or so.

Jason, if the old PDR units dumps on you, I have a decently priced for new HX-40. I picked up two cheap off ebay. We just have to recycle the turbine housing off the old PDR unit and wastegate pressure actuvator. I'll let you have one for the same price as what I paid for it. I wanted to buy a set of mach 4's for daily commuting, but with the new twins I might be able to live with the 6'rs. Save the money for a new mach sticks. I just took the rig out for a turbo breakin. I got 10 feet on the 1-2 shift, I thought my Dana 70 was done, as there was a loud clunk from the rear of the truck. Well I haven't bought a dana yet, so finger crossed that doesn't happen. This thing is gonna be stupid a$$ if I can pull some boost. I can pull 20 psi in 2-3 seconds, from dead stop. I'm gonna baby the girl, till I go to Mission.

Might be time to upgrade to an 80...? [roll] I am hoping my 40 lives for a while yet-I sent it back last year (?-maybe longer than that now) to be refreshed as I had a noise I thought was the turbo dying-turns out it was a loose bolt in my intake plenum left over from the lift pump change I had just done.....[redface]
I would really like to try something ball bearing for the spoolup-or a VGT if there was a controller readily available-but that will probably wait for the next truck.
