A couple things. One, two puddles of oil in the driveway and garage. Two, a shudder at take-off. As for number one, I'm thinking that's just part of breaking in the new engine so I'm not worried. After convincing myself that there is a slight "shudder" when pulling away from a stop, I made an appointment at my dealer. I then headed to the computer and to DTR. Needless to say I found information on the aptly named "launch shudder". I printed off the TSB so I am now armed when I go in for servicing. Once again, my hat is off to the people that inhabit this website.
Aside from that, I can actually say that I like this truck even more than my '03. I can't get over how smooth it rides...the long wheelbase and heavier weight I guess.

I cant comment on the shudder but I think that you oil leak is normal. Mine puked some oil out the rear main seal during break in. It bothered me enough that I took it in. The dealer added some dye and said to drive it some more. To my surprise it quite leaking and that was over 15K miles ago. The tech said it was some kind of lube that is used during assembly and the leak is normal. I would have sworn he was nuts! Now I have no oil leak at all. Not even the blow by tube. Just have them check it while they look at your shutter. This way it is documented incase it is actually a serious leak.
