Are we referring to the black strip of rubber running along the bottom edge of the window? If so, mine is warpping or bulging too. Any fixes?

Here's a few pics of my problem. It's just the door on the passenger side. Other side is just fine. Plus a pic of the truck clean. Just washed it the other day. Got a little lazy and hadn't kept up on keeping it clean. My Goerend transmission is being shipped as I post! Will be installed later this week! Can't wait!

Exactly what I have on my driver's side door! Not as bad yet, maybe cause of the cooler Bay Area weather...this is the first i have heard of this...have to wait and see what DTR brings to light...

I've got the same problem on both back doors, and living here in Vegas it's gotten pretty bad. I was going to buy replacement weather sterips/moulding strips, but since it appears to be a somewhat common problem I may just live with it.

Yeah, mine are warping too, ALL 4 doors, the rear ones are worse.

You'd think Chrysler would fix them but when I mentioned them to my dealership on 4 different occasions when my truck was in for misc warranty stuff they never wrote them down on the shop ticket AND basically told me that they were not bad enough to meet the warranty replacement requirements.

Somewhere I saw an aftermarket chrome or stainless steel 'stick on' for them, that gave me the idea that I could possibly use a double-faced tape on the backside to adhere them??? I have yet to persue checking on just buying a set of replacements from Chrysler, but I would imagine the replacements would do the same warping as the originals.

Considering what we pay for these trucks, you'd think they would get this stuff right, or at least take care of the problem under warranty, guess not . .

warpping rubber belt mdlg.

I have a jan. 07, 5.9 mega cab and have not seen this yet. I live north of seattle and keep the truck garaged. The only things that i could think of that would cause this to happen would be high temp; i.e. climate, solvents on any rubber will warp rubber ( some rubber protectants are petroleum based ) and could warp over prolonged use, and lastly, if the mdlg. has been replaced and it is an aftermarket product and not oem, it is very likely.
