Not this would be something I'd be interested in. Has anyone heard any news from DC that this would become available?

What do you mean being replaced? Are they dropping it from the line or being replaced for a larger quad cab? Guess I need to do some homework here... [coffee]

as in no more Mega Cab... 2009 MY will be the last time you can get a Mega Cab. MY 2009(1500's) and MY 2010 HD's will be getting a larger Crew Cab(think Mega minus the extra sheet metal behind the door).

I know there's a place in Utah somewhere that extends the frame and bed on Mega Cabs to a full 8' longbed. Desigend by an engineer and approved by DOT. I'll try to find the info on it. Also approved by Dodge as does not alter warranty at all. IIRC, it is even offered as an option that can be financed in the purchase price of new vehicles.
