Mechanic Recommendations Seattle-Tacoma

Hi...Just got my first CTD, and I really want to get some preventative stuff caught up, and I believe I need some repairs. Any recommendations for a great mechanic between Seattle & Tacoma, WA? I will probably need the clutch done (might as well while the rear seal is being taken care of.) That's my biggest concern, as right now there is a fair amount of leakage out the bottom of the bellhousing, and the flywheel looks wet from oil. I figure it's just a matter of time before oil gets on the clutch & pp. Any help will be appreciated!

Hey man... Welcome to the club... I would try to at least look at it and see if you can hit it up yourself.... The guys at Powershop sounds pretty reputable, but I think they are a little pricey... Some of the guys say that you can go to the kenworth or peterbuilt dealers (there are some in fife opposite of the flying j) that will work on our rigs... I would recommend somehting them...Anyway, let me know if I can help too... Jake (in Yelm)

welcome to DTR!
do the work yourself. get a service manual, not a chiltons or haynes from napa. a real one.
there is nothing complicated on these rigs, just big.

Join up with the great folks here http://www.nwbombers.com/forum/index.php
they won't lead you astray and will most likely fight over who gets to work on your truck for free.

Hey wait a minute we NEVER would fight over who gets to fix it. We 1st would have to get the injection pump in good working order.
