MB Wheels
Anybody have experiences with MB Wheels sold by Discount Tire? I'm looking at their Predator wheels but I don't know anything about their brand. If anyone has any info, I sure would appreciate it.

i have the 17 x 10 razors on my 2002 and was excited when i was rebuilding the motor and thought they would look great on my 2007. the wheels WOULD NOT clear the brakes on the '07. but nice wheels easy to keep shiny. just one thing i had sharp burrs in the valve stem holes that i had to grind after blowing 35" bfg m/t ripping the sidewall out at speed around a nice curve on the interstate.

I have the Predators in grey, they have been perfect. I didn't get the Gunner 8's becasue they stuck out too far for my taste (even though it wasn't much). The Predetors fit is as close to stock as I could find, and I checked around A LOT!

I just picked up the Gunner 8 wheels, 20 X 8.5. One of the few 20 inch wheels with 5.5"+ backspacing for the right fit.
I'm happy with them, but they don't look as well made as a Weld or Centerline wheel. I think MB might be a Discount/America's Tire house brand, which means they are very easy to get. Three shops in my area had them in stock. $1242 out the door w/tax for the wheels & gorilla lock lugs for 5 rims. Would have been at least $2800 for the Weld equivalent..

I also found some KMC XD Hoss wheels. I can get them in a 17x9 with 5.71 BS and +18mm offset. Anyone know if I'll have any rubbing issues with BFG 315/70s (which I currently have on stock rims & no lift)? Right now I get a very slight rub on the control arms but no where else.

I would say that you should be fine. Pauly (ptgarcia) has the same wheels in black on his truck and has no problems. I'm sure he will be chimming in soon, he is like the wheel guru for this forum and has like is radar on for these type of threads ,right Pauly?
