MAP/BARO Correlation..need help

I have an 04 1/2...a very early one, most everything i have replaced has been listed as 03, calipers, mass air sensor, (04 is shown to be on the intake manifold, mine is about 6 inches behind the air filter) and if i remember correctly even my break pads...I wanted to give yall a little history on the truck cause it could have bearing on the problem i have now...I recently replaced my injectors and mass air pressure sensor.....it runs better but not as good as it did..it shows a p0069 code ...MAP/BARO correlation.....can anybody tell me what BARO is? and what all it controls...I didn't know if it was the same part on an 04, and mabe 2 different ones on an 03...any information would be appreciated

On 03 models the MAP and BIAT (Barometric Intake Air Sensor) are 1 single unit. It's located on top of intake manifold, right behind the square air inlet pipe, it's very visible, practically the only electrical connector on top of manifold.

These trucks aren't equipped with mass air sensors. The sensor on the intake tube behind the air filter is called an intake air temp sensor. The sensor on the intake manifold is called a manifold absolute pressure sensor. Absolute pressure is measured in form as absolute barometric pressure along with another air temp sensor for correction. It sounds as though your MAP sensor is dirty and needs cleaned and/or replaced. However, I would probably take Bob's advice and get it flashed as well.
