How many women owners?
Maybe this question has been addressed before but I did not find any information when I did a search. I am wondering how many members of the DTR are women, and I am curious about why they own these nice trucks.
I am female, and bought mine to haul my dogs and travel trailer all over the Southwest to play a dog sport called Flyball. I found out about the DTR from a fellow flyballer.
I have found GREAT help and support for any question I have had on the DTR and love it here.

First of all, thank you for the compliments on the site. I think the percentage is small to be quite honest with you, but there are a few females here. I know about flyball but have never done it before. I do K9 SAR with my GSD though, which is good for keeping him happy
I'm going to move this thread to where it'll get more exposure. Welcome to the site

I work with a female that drives a PURPLE CTD....she's a millwright, does SAR on the side, and has a decal in the back window that says "bad A$$ girls drive bad a$$ toys"

Well, At the price of these things it takes two paychecks and the wife drives and tows with OURS! I may do the posting but she helps pay, work on, drive, and have fun with it. So I should start ending with:
Allen & Trina
Or would that be?

When I am not working my seventeen year old daughter begs to drive the truck to school. The boys just can't get over this short little girl driving a big truck. My 20 year old daughter wants to drive it when she's home from college. Girls do seem to like big trucks.

You guys with teenage daughters, they can drive MY truck .
Yeah Right, for some reason, the women run from my truck, must be the faded sandpaper like paint, and the big stupid flatbed .

I am a 22 year old female, and I have 2 Dodge Cummins trucks. I have a 91 first gen (Sweetpea), and an 02 4wd ex cab lwb Cummins (Josey), both 5 speed. I have my trucks for a lot of reasons, mostly because they are my obsession and I can not live without them. I get asked ALL THE TIME if my trucks are my hubbys, or dad's, so I just put butterflys on the back glass, and got CMNS GAL license plates on the 02 HA! I dont get asked that anymore.
I bought my first Cummins by myself, and now I work even harder to pay for this new big boy I got. I do all my own work on my trucks and keep both of them in perfect condition. When Josey is paid off, I will be buying a 3rd Cummins. Any man that can handle me will have to understand he will come 3rd after my 2 trucks.
I can not speak for other woman with Dodge Cummins trucks, but for me they are a way of life, something to put all your time and money into. I just hope I can find a man who feels the same way I do, but has his own trucks, so he does not have to touch mine.
Check out my gallery and see many pics of Josey and Sweetpea!
