I have an '06 QC CTD 4x4 SLT auto. It went in @ 1180 mi. because of tranny issues to have "new" software downloaded . Then @ 8400 to have new torque converter installed & new O/D solenoid . Now @ 9,200 it is back in for more tranny work . I ask dealer what parts this time & he said "I didn't ask the tech." So how many times do ya'll think is reasonable before I 'try' & demand a new tranny?

Wow that sucks just keep documenting it then trade it for a
6 Speed


They will never just give you a new tranny, your tranny you have now would need to have 70% of the insides bad/not working, other wise they will keep throwing parts at it until they figure it out

I feel your pain I had a Auto in my 01 and had it leave me stranded on the road because of a sensor. I was so mad about the sensor in the trans leaving me stranded that I sold it and bought a 6speed, I would never go back to an auto after having my 6spd.

53 ****** gave you perfect advise. Sorry about your trouble, that stinks, brand new truck, excellent every way except p.o.s. auto. Hope they will treat you right, but I hear it's like pullin teeth.
