How many inches is the chevy 2500/3500 shorter than our stock height?

Went to the chevy/GMC dealer and they already have some overpriced lifted trucks with all 35" Pro-Comp X-Terrains and 20" Pro-Comp wheels as well as 6" Pro-Comp lift. I somewhat parked my truck next to it and aside from the nose dive, our trucks STOCK look just slighty shorter than the chevy's with the 6" lift. BTW, I really love that set-up. 20" wheels w/ 35" tires of 18" wheels w/ 35". How would the ride in te 20" v.s. my 17" stock ride make a difference. Am I still able to pull 8000 lbs trailes with the 20"?? Also, what do those gas nitrogen shocks help along with the regular MX-6 Pro-Comp shocks? Whats the point of them? Im talking about the 3 canisters that are sticking out further than the regular shock?? The last pic is the same tires/rims but in 18" wheels. I really like the looks of the red one, would that just be a leveling kit and the same wheels/tires for our trucks?

My truck with 2" lift is about the same height as my brothers F-350 4x4 with 4" lift. Our trucks sit really high from the factory.

20's won't limit your towing ability any more than any other rim as long as they have the proper load capacity. My brother pulls a 15,ooo lb Weekend Warrior and his truck has 20s.

I think 18" dia. wheels are the perfect size for 35" tires. For my taste 20s are too big and 17s are just a tad too small.

Those are cheap reservoir shocks. The reservoir moves the nitrogen and something piston (forget what its called right now) outside the shock body to allow for more oil. Results is a more effective shock. But I'd stick with King, Fox, Radflo or Sway-A-Way and leave the Pro Comps for the chumps with Chevys.

yeah they sale those things around here in San Antonio too. That is the only way I would buy a chevy 2500, it would have to come stock like that. They are way too small in stock form. I have 18" rims with 285's right now, moving up to 35x12.5's in a month or so when I get the time. I like those procomp A/t, nice looking new design, I was thinking toyo M/T but now after seeing that pic I will go with the procomp and hope for a good outcome. As for towing with a bigger tire, I have no problem with the 285's which are 33" tires, cant even feel my boat which is around 6000 lbs right now without the motors on it.

Do the silver and white ones have a body lift?? Notice the gap between the the bumper and grille/fenders. Red one doesn't have the same gap, and looks shorter.
