Manual Transmission Hard to Shift
I am having a hard time getting it to go into gear. I had to shut the truck off, shift into gear, and then fire it up to get it into gear to get home. I can drive it now, but it is sometimes hard to shove it into a gear, sometimes it feels like it is lined up and is easy to shift. Any thoughts about what to look at first?

Sounds to be clutch related.....i.e., the clutch isn't disengaging completely. Could be the slave cylinder, but I am sure more experienced forum members will chime in soon.

I vote slave, if it is replace the whole unit being it very hard to near impossible to bleed. if you pump the clutch is it any better? If you leave your foot on the clutch say at a stop light with it in neutral is it hard to put in gear?

Yep, It seems worse when I leave my foot on the clutch. I will try to pump the clutch and see if that makes a difference.
