Man I hate stock,
I was thinking about selling my Smarty the other day. So I placed i in the Classifieds and withing 4 hours I had a buyer. So yesterday I deprogrammed it and shipped it off. I climbed into the truck and went to take off.....I though someone stole the CTD and dropped in a Hundai 4cyl. My god I cannot believe I ever drove this truck stock. I am waiting in anticipation on my GDP392 and TST PM3CR.

Why did you sell your smarty?? IMHO you wont be near as happy with the TST, simply because the TST is a top end chip while the smarty is a bottom and mid range!! But good luck

I could not get the smarty to do what I "thought" I wanted....It was SERIOUSLY changing the way my trans was shifting. Even with the stock TM. Now that I am stock again, the trans is shifting very smooth. Something between the smarty and the goerend VB didnt like each other. From final to OD i would get this bump-bump shift that would shake the truck. I spent about 30 minutes on the tele with Dave and he said it was partly to do with a POS part from dodge and due to the increased pressures from the smarty. So Dave is sending me a new part for the accumulator to fix that issue. If I had waited one more day I may have kept the smarty. But hey....It's always nice to try new things.
BTW, FWIW I have to sy that Dave Goerend has the best customer service around. After 30 minutes I knew all i needed to know about the tranny. As well as what I was feeling, at what stages and what we can do to fix it. I will never go anywhere else than Goerend for my trans issues!!!!!!! (Thanks McMopar!!!!)

ShakinRedCTD, when did you talk to Dave? I have called three times in the last 2 weeks and still haven't talked to him, this monday I called and talked to a lady who said he was on vacation for the next 2 weeks but that he would be returning my call. I still haven't heard anything and it has been nearly 2 weeks. I want to set up a time to get my trans installed, but it is hard when nobody returns calls.

I talked to him yesterday. He IS on vacation, however you should be able to conduct all business with his crew. If not, he will get back to you asap. He went out of his way to call me which sits highly in my book. Call his shop and set up a time with them, should not be a problem.
