Making a list and checking it twice!
Here's the scoop, I need an extra set or 2 of eyes to look over the setup I'm thinking of / have purchaced for my 650HP goal:
Twins: b2/hx40
Injectors: EDM 6's (undecided, pretty sure I've got enough air)
Headwork: Firerings + 12mm studs (Haisley)
Cam: DD cam (undecided, $1500 is a lot for a cam)
Clutch, Input shaft: Haisley Street puller, 1 3/8" hardened
Fuel system: FASS
What parts of the puzzle am I missing? Anything I over looked? What would you change? I'm interested in building the setup properly the first time. Also, I need convincing that the DD cam is worth $1500. Just tell me "Yes, you NEED it."

Doh!! Yeah. I forgot that. : That will most likely be a question after I get the twins up and running the way I like them. Anything else?
Thanks to Rod for the original inspiration/ suggestions/ PM3/ ScottyII.

Your in Ohio, you might as well give Enterprise engine a call.
They make twins, injectors, clutches etc.

Looks like your list is pretty complete to me. That twin combo should work pretty good. If you can afford it spring for the DD cam... it is supposed to work really good. Think about a turbo master for the HX40 to controll boost. With the 6's you should be able to hit 650hp and still be able to drive daily. Looks like the same setup that Nathan runs but you could run a little more boost with the fire rings. I would also consider a custom HT4B from JR for more air than the B2. My HT4B spools great and is very streetable.

[/quote]Wow Justin, this coming from you!! LOL I second what Justin said and also if you want to go alittle to the west call Justin's favorite shop Shieds, either shop will fix you up.
( sorry Justin I had to poke alittle fun at you)

Re:Making a list and checking it twice!
Justin,
Thanks for the thought. I checked with EE and wasn't really impressed with the attention I was getting when compared with the amount of money involved. Please note that this was just my impression after spending 30 minutes on the phone and probably doesn't reflect them as a whole. They may be 45 minutes from my house, but I'd rather drive 5 hours and be totally understood.
Battering Ram,
It should look familiar to Nate's, it is. I'm 'welder-challenged' so I have to buy my setup instead of ending up with a mangled set of turbos welded to the wheel. (That's what would happen if I were to attempt it. )
BLUTIC,
I'm visiting a buddy's scrap steel pile sometime soon to find the necessary plumbing to run dual 5" stacks. He was supposed to email me back this week, haven't heard yet.
[shadow=green,down]Viva la STACKS!![/shadow]
One thing I haven't checked into that far is a better valve train. DonM, I know you've replied to the subject of 'trimming' valves (what's that called again?).
Anyone,
Are there alternative valves I should be looking at when the head's apart?
