Well after taking so long to get these installed I did them yesterday afternoon, everything went real smooth and had them installed in about 2.5 hrs. I can say that these are way smoother and less smoke actually then the jammer nozzles I had in. Being that these are 175hp injectors I only went up 75 hp from from the Jammer 3's I had in before (100hp) I have noticed a mild increase in seat of the pants performance but other than that not anything real drastic, I can't comment on exhaust temps at this time due to the fact that the amplifier on the gauge went **** up, boost psi seems to be maybe a little higher (2-4psi more around 34psi) As of right now I am running a old blue box from Blue chip diesel maybe 100hp box, when it is on kill I'm still seeing max. 44psi of boost.(possible boost leak) I have a feeling as soon as I get a better box on this again it will really liven up these injectors and make this truck wake up.

For those of you that have not been bitten yet by the HP bug once you do nothing is ever enough. ( Secretly I'm now thinking I should go bigger like maybe 6"s )

But for now I am gonna run these and see how things go once I get a more aggressive fueling/timing box.

Another convert to Mach Injectors. You will see bigger differences as you add HP. Mach 4's are great... may be best all around injectors anywhere. They perform beautifully for towing, racing or just daily driving.

Hard to comment when your signature has everything in it but ctd info!
For example...if an HO, Mach 6's are a waste of money.

Looks like Chris found his man hands to brave the cold and get the injectors installed! I'll be curious to see how they do for you towing, but wait until you get the pyro squared away. I have an old 1500* Isspro gauge with amp. box I used to run, let me know and I'll make you a "prefered customer" discount.

I'm glad you like the injectors. Don't trust the SOTP dyno, put it on a real one.

My thoughts precisely. If ever there was a "sweet spot" for an injector this HAS to be it! It's just small enough to be manageable for all the stuff that matters (towing, cold starting, smoke control, etc) and just big enough to make some pretty decent power (500+ in many cases).

I wouldn't be surprised if an HO with M4s could do 425 with no wire tap and good air. That would be impressive, imo.

Maybe that's going to be my new goal, since my dreams have have been getting smaller and cheaper quite a bit lately

Like everyone else said...Mach 4's are the best ALL AROUND injector.
They tow with low egts, don't smoke to bad, and make great power.
You won't win any dyno contest, but you won't melt anything down or smoke out the crowd, either.

P.S. I thought that fuel line 5&6 were pretty dang easy to get to and swap out, I started with them and worked forward and using the small flat blade to get the connector tubes out was sweet!!! SO thank you very much Mike D for the sound advice!!

Mach 4's would be too hot towing even just 5000lbs over Vail pass on a regular basis. That sucker is steep for a long time.

With what I have in my sig, To stay at 65-70mph, I can easily hit 1250 after a few miles and I have to slow down.

Now note, I have no timing / boost fooler box which supposedly would help, but I would be truly amazed if it would help that much with Mach 4's in the mix.

If so, I'd like to hear from someone that truly has the setup and tows with it at high altitude in the summer.

If I didn't tow or lived at lower altitudes... the Mach 4 does sound like one sweet injector.

COred, you need a boost fooler and an adjustable boost elbow. You will be able to keep in it longer and if you also threw an XZT+ in the mix, you could go even faster before egt woes. Of course you would just use the timing level on those big hills. I tow occasionally here at 4500' and have towed a skid steer or two to Park City and back. That is about 7500-8000 feet going over the pass by Jordanelle.
