Mach 1.6s driving me nuts.

I have had a set of mach 1.6s in my 01 for a few months now and love the power they make with almost no smoke but the funny/lopey/wavey/off rythem idle whatever you wanna call it is driving me nuts. The truck runs perfect cold but as soon as it warms up it starts idleing weird. I am in south Texas and its getting hot outside and it seems to be getting worse and the ambient air temp rises. Any ideas?

Others have posted about this lope. I installed mine 2mo ago and it idles a little diff but hardly noticeable at all. I mean you really have to listen to even notice the slight diff.

On my '98.5,mine would only lope after departing the freeway and idling at an intersection. The lope would dissappear in a few seconds.

My Mach 1s don't have any lope at all--idle sounds no different than with stock injectors. Could this be an injection pump thing?

I have Mach 6's in my truck and have never noticed any kind of lope. I thought that only happened in 12v engines with a cam in them, (seriously, I have heard some 12v's loping because of how they were turned up, including a cam).

I've never noticed any difference in idling compared to stock, and mine don't ever lope.

Well i have tried everything, new cam sensor, inj pump (blue chip), apps, map sensor, iat sensor, overflow valve in inj pump, crossover tubes (stock size), checked all grounds, no fuel leaks even the return T and banjo bolt at the back of the block. I am just at a loss. I have even pulled and replaced the injectors several times to make sure all the crossover tubes and everything line up perfectly. I guess I give up.

Isn't F1 in the Dallas area? Could you get in touch with Don and ask him. You aren't too far away that he couldn't see the truck, if necessary.

Make sure the lines to the injectors are tight. The slightest amount of air being sucked in will make it lope. Another thing you could try loosening each one individually and see which one may be causing issues.

A cam has nothing to do with lope. Its all in the fuel system.

Yeah i checked all the lines and everything. This is a problem that i have been trying to pinpoint since I put the first set of performance injectors in my truck. It will do it with other injectors not just the 1.6s i also have had ddp stage 2s and someother brand but i can put the same injectors in another truck and it will run fine. But on the other had i can put stock injecots back in my truck and it will run perfect so it has something to do with the added fuel of the performance injectors. I have also found out that other people have this same problem from time to time and they consider it normal but i realized that the people that are having this problem only have 01 and 02 trucks some H.O. and some S.O. so what i have concluded is that trucks that have a crank sensor dont have this problem and trucks with only the cam sensor seem to have the problem. It must have some relation because i have searched every post on the web and have found many peole with the problem i describe and they all have a truck with just the cam sensor no crank.

I thought that cams created the lope at idle or is that just in gassers...
