Luke's Link installed on trackbar... Pics
Just installed a Luke's Link on the trackbar along with a new end-bushing. Here's what it looks like:
The install for the Luke's Link itself was pretty straightforward and simple. But the end-bushing is a completely different story. I don't want to deal with that again. After trying to hammer it, beat it, etc., I put it between my floor jack and the frame of the truck with a socket inbetween to press the bushing out. Believe it or not, the truck began to lift before the bushing came out. I got it by snapping the jack up a few times. The new bushing was hard to compress back into the axle too. Is this just the nature of new bushings? I practically muscled it back in (major pita). Please tell me if there is an easier way.
Overall, so far I'm pleased with the results. Death wobble seems to be gone. I don't know how long it's going to last. Hopefully a very long time like it's supposed to. Cause if it doesn't last a long time it's not worth doing. At that point I'd rather get a new trackbar from Autozone with a lifetime warranty and save myself a lot of time.

You can rent a ball joint press from autozone, saves some time.
I purchased a 20 ton shop press from Harbor Freight for $169.00 on sale. It has paid for itself 10 times over.
