Anything wrong with running a tire this size?

I have run this size tire on my bone stock, 340,000 mile truck (3.54 gearing, automatic), on the factory rims, and have had no problems. I noticed a decrease in accleration and torque, but not that bad (I can still spin the tires on take off, therefore, it still has plenty of power for driving around). Also, my truck is not lifted I only need to do a little trimming on the inside edges of the wheel molding.

Ok, I have been looking at some 305 70 R16 tires. Discounttire has a comparasion 'Check' page that show's the difference in tire sizes. Pretty neat.

I run the 305 70 R16 size tire on CenterLine 16x10 rims. With a 1.5" body lift, I've never had any problems.

I just removed the body lift Christmas eve.

I dunno friend. Up front it's pretty close to the fender edges when turning. It wouldn't do to drive diagonally across a deep ditch while turning.

I plan on dropping a size or two in the near future.

If you are worried about rubbing, then a 305/70/16 would be a good choice. I ran 33x12.50x16.5 (basically the same size on 8.75 wide rims) with no rubbing what so ever, yet, the rubbing with the 35s (315/75/16 on 7.5 wide rims) on mine is minimal. 33x12.50 are one of the best looking sized tires on these trucks (in my opinion at least, I have my own reasons for wanting 37s).
