LP location

Have been kicking a round putting new lp on my 98. got to lookin at truck found what looks like elec. lp mounted on block in about same local as a lp on a 12v. Is this it Or is it in tank??

So we are assuming that you have a 98.5 24v?
If so the LP is to the right below the Fuel filter.
Vulcan has a nice Big line kit with relocation for the LP. Check into it, it's nice

I also have 98.5 24v and the lift pump is directly beneath and slightly behind the fuel filter. Just follow the dipstick tube toward the firewall and it will go slightly beyond the LP.

Yes, the 24V electric lift pump is mounted on a bracket which covers the same hole in the block where the 12V manual pump mounts. When you replace it, take it off that bracket and mount it back on the frame rail in front of your fuel tank. (You'll need a Vulcan kit from Geno's Garage) Leave the old bracket on the block though.. It covers the hole.
