Low beams went out on each side. Guessing it's a fuse but not sure. 1992 W250. Anyone experience this?

If the lamps didn't burn out then I would check the dimmer switch and the light switch. My Silver Stars burn out like clockwork every 6 to 9 months.

To remove the dimmer switch I assume I'll need to take the whole plastic panel off around it. Or is there a quicker way? Bought the truck with no owner's manual and I still have no repair manual so I'm working kind of blind.

It happend to me too. turned out both low beams went out at exactly the same time.

Fuse 15 is the Interior light fuse......you may have an interior light on? Maybe the halo ring around the key is not turning off? It's on a timer under the dash believe it or not. Timer goes bad...halo ring stays on all the time.

Yup, ... if it's like mine you'll need a torx driver, about #20 for the panels, and some tamper-proof bits to get the switch itself

go hit the lights and see if they turn on, it could be the lamps. Mine did that and I got pulled over for havin a headlight out and i got out and hit it and it turned right on, then my other one went so i got a whole new headlight for like $15.

Checked my fuses, they were fine. I was going to check the bulbs this morning when I turned on the light switch. Low and behold, my low beams worked. I'm guessing it's a short in the wiring, but for now, I'll let it be until the lights go out permanently.

Not a wise idea.
If they should go out when you're driving in pitch dark, and you're not expecting it, bad things can happen.

After replacing two "headlight switches" in the last 6 months and being caught without headlights far from home, I spent a few hours yesterday following Jim's relay installation guide. As others have reported it's not as bad as it looks and the headlights are probably 20% brighter. Many thanks to Jim on that one and would add this to the list of must do updates (like KDP fix).

I would suspect the switch rather than a short. It is pretty common for a switch that is on its way out, to work intermittently.
