Low Amps
#2
Amprege is a measurement of the flow of electricity a device uses when running. The fuel pump will pull a certain amount of amps at a given voltage. A DC motor will run slower or faster depending on the voltage. As an example, on a cold day when you first start the truck, you will hear the transfer pump running faster then slower as the intake heater cycles periodically, until it is done cycling. The grid heater has such a draw on the system that the voltage drops while the heater is cylcing. If your system voltage is at nominal, your pump should run properly. If your voltage is low the pump will run slower but it should't hurt it.
