I love my truck.

I just got back from a big hunting trip last week, & sat down to figure my milage, etc. I had my camper loaded up which brings me to 12,400# gross.(pics of truck, & camper in my file).I allways leave my smarty on Sw9/tm2/tq2/rp2/wg off. I racked up 856 miles, with 6 mountain passes crossed, 6 climbs up,& down the dirt roads to camps, totaling about 40 miles, & several thousand feet of elevation. I aveaged 10.5 mpg for the whole trip. I also got to listen to my engine sing for many miles climbing grades of up to 8%. At 75 mph I was doing 2850 rpm. 36# boost, & 1100* EGT for several miles at a time. The sound was more than sweet. This was the first trip with the new 51" Donaldson on. What a sound. I can't get enough!!

They are definatley addicting. I couldn't imagine not having it. Or believe I used to use a gas truck to tow. Once you have pulled some grades with a trailer loaded in the fast lane there is no going back.

This truck rocks! My truck is mostly stock and I love passing my buddies in their gas trucks pulling smaller horse trailers. It never gets dull.

I will say I agree but the V10 engines are pretty darn good pullers for a gas engine.

Yeah, the v10 pulls most anywhere but past a gas station.

My friends V10 ford won't get out of its own way with a load. He has the dual exhaust too and it sounds like a ****** ricer.

I wouldn't own a gas engine again. They all sound like ricers to me now. The best sound is a screaming turbo. That's the sound of power.

I just got back from a five hundred mile trip through the Sierras last night. Found myself turning down the music to listen to the roar on a few grades Sheesh.

I love my Cummins too. I have a buddy that pulls heavy as well, he has a duramax and I spank him on the long grades. Every time we pass him goin up I always smile and tell my wife how much I love our truck.
It creates nice camp fire talks, in our favor.
