LOVE my blue chip super X vp44
I just finished my install of my new airdog II 165 and BlueChip super X vp44 and ran my first full tank through it.
WOW!!!!!!!! My truck runs awesome and I got almost 29mpg running 60mph empty no wind and around town I am getting around 18mpg as long as I keep my foot out of my quadzilla.
I have to say the Blue Chip IJ pump is very good and the customer service is even better. I had my pump in 3 days minimal down time on my truck.
You pay a little more for the pump but I believe the extras are worth it.
Thanks Blue Chip

Get ready for all the $999 injection pump guys to tell you how stupid you were to buy a BC IP. I wanted a pump with a new computer and Chip had always been a great help to me with my truck. I am the proud owner of a Special X. Congrats on your purchase!

Stupid or not i consider it peace of mind and worth it for the customer service. besides its my money and I have been looking at pumps for about the past year and have heard both good and bad about alot of different pumps. I have heard of pumps lasting a week and I have heard of rebuilt pumps lasting 275,000 miles. So its kind of like gambleing at least I know 100% my pump has new electronics and a 1 year warranty.
Yeah I paid alot but hey the pump works I am happy with it and its great for what I need to do with it.
No different then people who put 6" lift kits on with 24" rims on a hummer that will never see dirt............ who knows I guess if I have the money and I wanna spend it on what ever pump I want I will.
But I want to thank everybody I have talked to about what ever pump they are running and I feel I made a good decision.

I have read what I could find on Blue Chips pumps, but it still eludes me how they can be so much better. I know I'm not all that knowledgeable, but what is it that makes these pumps so great ??

There are a bunch of good pumps out there and everybody is entitled to their opinion thats why this website is so great I can read peoples good and bad opinion on all pumps and I have read bad on blue chip and good on other pumps. I just like the piece of mind knowing everything on my pump other than the houseing is new.

Between big injectors and fueling boxes, I have enough extra fuel that I went with the 15X regular pump. Other than my injectors and the Smarty, I desire any additional fueling to be 'selectable'. But for those carrying less hp, the SuperX pump makes sense.
Blue Chip VP-44's have reported no failures that I'm aware of! I WONDER WHO HAS THE MOST MILES ON A BLUE CHIP PUMP???

Apparently Bosch has had as many problems with test equipment as we have with VP-44's.
So, I suspect, the parts replaced on a rebuilt pump may or may not be everything needed. This fact would explain why some rebuilts don't last long. Blue Chip VP-44's are completely rebuilt with new 'stuff'. And the include all the latest and greatest updates.... so better than original factory. JMO.

I put a blue chip in mine last fall and the truck pushed snow all winter, starts better, idles smoother, and improved overall driveability. Also wanted a pump with a new computer, I have relatively high underhood temps when plowing.
