Loss of fuel pressure and stumbles

I have a 98 24 valve with Edge 125hp injectors, APE open filter and Edge Juice with Attitude. Last year with these mods I lost fuel pressure so I added a Holley Blue pump which put me at 22-24 idle and 13-16 under hard or heavy pulling accelarertion. Now the truck stumbes or misses real bad while towing heavy loads or under full throttle w/out towing and noticed my fuel pressured droped to 2-3 lbs under full throttle? I had a broken return line along injector pump so I replaced it and pressure washed the engine bay, almost immedetly my water in fuel light came and stayed on even after 2 attempts to drain through filter area. Finally went out and has stayed out but not sure if they are related or what but the stumbling and pressure loss worries me any ideas!!!!! The fuel filter is at least 1-2 yrs old. really need help here...

also the truck has 137,000 miles and most likely a stock oem injector pump, the tank pump was replaced and a holley added.

If you have a bad batch of fuel with water in it, that would cause all kinds of problems. But, losing pressure is not a good thing.
Also I personally think that 24 psi is too much head pressure on the VP44. As long as it has pressure (5, 7, 10 psi) it is getting all the fuel it can use. Too much pressure causes it to lose efficiency on the intake side (or so I read, take a look on the Bluechip web site, they have a good explanation there).

If the fuel filter is 1-2yrs old change that first, before you do anything else.

The fuel filter is an open paper filter, like this:

My fuel pressure problem is fixed with new filter but still misses under hard throttle or heavy towing. I keep my Edge on 3 most of the time but misses on any setting????
