Looking for shocks
I'm picking up a used pro-comp 5" lift pretty much free. I need some shocks I can use for fast gravel roads, but still ride smooth in town. Truck usally packs 700-1400lbs daily. I was thinking bilsteins, but I dont know if I should get one with resi's or just the reg 5100. The front end of the truck has been know to come off the ground a lil bit(2-4ft) so I need something to soak up that to.

if you really want a great ride and want to spend the money contact Don at www.thurenfabrication.com and have him costom valve some King's. it isn't cheap but that is the ultimate setup. I have the 5100's on my truck and I think the ride is still stiff. but like they say great shocks can't perform to their full potential with stiff springs.
Good luck
