Looking for Pics of Stacks thru Tonneau Cover
I just purchased some stacks and i want to run them through the tonneau cover. I know that i will need to cut holes in the cover. I am looking for pics from the guys that have done it. Any pointers on how to do it would be great too. Thanks for the help

umm... ive never seen it done, so i really cant say that much. but i dont think i would like it. The cover would need big slots in it so it could raise up. Forget about it being water proof. To each his own tho, if you like it, thats all that matters! sorry i wasnt any help

I have seen stacks through toppers and bed covers. Is it Fiberglass or vinal? That makes a huge difference. If it is fiberglass it will need thouse big slots unless you never plan to hinge it. I guess you could just hinge it from the back or eve put a center hinge that runs down the center long way of the bed. Vinal would be the easiest just make sure it does not get too hot. I think if it is done right it looks very nice.

Check on the Classifieds. There is a truck for sale under 2nd Gen that has stacks running up thru the tonneau cover. Granted, this truck is wrecked, but IMHO, they look like a bag of edit

I don't have a pic of it but I saw one some time ago.
The owner had a soft or vinyl cover on his truck, but the stacks came thru an aluminum panel that ran across the cab end of the bed. His tonneau cover butted up against the aluminum panel and then attached to the rest of the truck box like normal.
Allowed him to use the cover as he pleased with the stacks not even being an issue.
Should be very easy to modify a soft type cover to work like this.

Hmmm sounds like a potential meltdown...
What might help you: Extang makes a full tilt, tool box compatible, tonneau. I believe Extang to be the best product out there BTW.
Get your self some aluminum stock or diamond-plate, of the 1/4 or 3/8" variety; cut your holes, route your stacks, and your ready to roll.
