I'm looking to give my truck a facelift. I want to paint the rocker panels with a rhino liner/linex type material. Anyone ever done this? doesn't look that difficult, mostly wondering what you have used and what kind of prep work is really key.
I also saw a truck with stock rims that were painted black. Loved the look and I understand it was done with a rattle can high heat flat paint. I would think one would need a primer of some sort...

I had the local Line-X place do my rockers and my door sills on my 01'. The truck was white and the black Line-X looked good on it. As for applying it myself...or yourself, do a search on here as there are a few folks that have done it and posted good pix of the project too.
