As said before I am new to DTR, and I am going to look at a 92 D350 dually.

This truck is nearby, so I can go check it out. It is listed on craigslist.

Here is the link:http://phoenix.craigslist.org/car/413334863.html

Any suggestions for things I should look for or questions i should ask?

I'd want to see recipts for all teh work he is claiming... to put that much into the truck, but not know what the intercooler is called raises an eyebrow.....but is plausible I guess....

I'd really inspect teh body work, where teh extension was put on , and the rusty drip well, First Gens are known to rust thru in this area and it can be hidden...

Id also look at how all teh wiring was done, it could be a mess...

The rust around the rain gutter is a big turn-off, especially in AZ.

That truck sure does look familiar. There may have been another one like it but I thought sure that someone else posted an ad for it a couple of months ago. IF it's the same one, there may be something wrong to watch out for or you may have some negotiating room.

Check it out pretty closely and see if you can find out how long they've owned it and/or how long it's been for sale.

The intercooler is actually called a charge cooler in some applications so that would not be a concern but the rust on the drip rails would be. These rust from the inside out so a cab would be needed to fix it right or at least a top from another truck. That truck has been around for a while and I have seen it for sale on ebay also so I don't know what the problem with it may be, just be carefull and buyer beware.

I test drove this truck. Drives like a big suburban actually. I'll include pictures and a detailed list in my signature as soon as I can. Engine, engine compartment all looks clean with no leaks. Runs smooth. Body and interior is in pretty good condition, and there is a little bit of rust on the drip rail. This is(was) an Oklahoma truck.

And of course one of the major selling points is... the wife likes it (go figure?!?).

Thanks for all the advice, especially to whereswaldo250 and Smoke-Em.
