Looking to replace steering stabilizer

I am looking into replacing my steering stabilizer. It is currently the OEM one. I was looking for a Bilstein dual replacement, but have not been able to locate one. Has anyone got a good place to get these? If they are not available, is there a dual setup thru Kore or others that anyone is using and would recommend? Or, what is the best to go with....open to any and all suggestions here.

I looked at the Thuren set up, and it looks great but at about $500 it maybe out of my price range at this time.

Thanks!

And in other news......this just in, I can't spell the word looking

I was going to recommend the Carli dual stabilizer setup, but it's $601. There's nothing better out there, though.

I have no doubt that he has the superior product, but after wheels, tires, lift, shocks my budget has taken most of its beating.

Is it possible to install a superlift and run dual bilstein stabilizers in it? I am just looking for the best I can do for what money I have left...

Did you notice an improvment over the "feel" of the steering and all after the install?

You know what, you may want to call Sage and ask him if he can put together a kit with a less expensive shock than the Radflos, like maybe Bilsteins. It would probably save a couple hundred bucks.

I love my DSS...but would also like a better single stabilizer in the OEM mount...if that is possible.

Maybe just a high end non gas charged shock with the right length/eye size?

Ive been needing to get a new SS also. Is there a big difference between a dual or a single setup?

That is a good question, I just assummed that 2 is better than 1, but if a single can be just as good, I would do that also.

I put on a skyjacker replacement steering stabilizer when I went to 315's. Comparing the two, the Skyjacker is beefier.

When I did my lift I had bought the Superlift dual setup, but took it back because you have to cut off the stock mount on the diff. No way I was doing that at this point. After driving with the 37's for a while on our horrid highways I had to do something so I tried the Skyjacker dual and it is definately an improvement over stock. If I had more $ I would have liked the Kore single or the Carli setup, but that will have to wait.

I have a Rancho steering stablizer, it stiffened things up a little after the stock one had around 50,000 miles with the 315s and leveling kit.

What about this single unit from Defiant for $192, http://www.defianttruckproducts.com/...rt.php?prt=128. I like that it's fairly cheap and looks stock. I don't know what type of shock it is though, so I'm kinda hesitant.

I remember someone (I believe it was ptgarcia) mentioning Carli had a dual setup that was going to work with people who had the Mag-Hytec front covers. Does anyone know when that will be available?

Jared
