I just ordered one of those in as cast finish. I like how it has drain, fill, and check plugs and has more capacity than the stock cover.

I just received my 11.5" PML diff cover. Black powdercoated and very impressive!
Going to install it tomorrow. Will post pics when done.

Summit sells one for mine that is a clear cover. Looks pretty neat but I'm skeptical on using a polycarbonate cover on my axle.

Polycarbonate

Whats wrong with that, I use them on my face!!!

FOR MY GLASSES...shatterproof lenses

I'm with you though, don't know that I'd use it for a differential cover

i think the chevy version of the pan looks nicer than the the dodge one... but if i had the scratch for it, i'd get the molten images "ghost in the maching" rear diff if i could. i like that one...

I like the Chevy 11.5" version also. But I don't think there's enough clearance between the spare tire and the cover on the SWB 2wd models. The 11.5" cover for the Dodges that I just installed is pretty close to the spare. I repositioned the spare a little further back for extra clearance.
Pics are posted in my photo gallery.

I have seen these used on a number of "Extreme Rock Crawlers" with out a problem. They take the abuse!
