Look what I found from Saltillo!!!!!!!!!

I was changing my oil for the first time on the new 07. As I was just glancing around I found this extra part loose between the ECM and the Top rim of the oil pan on the Drivers side!!! It looks like something they lost when they installed injector parts??????

SO tell me how it likely got there!!!! LOLOL I am glad I caught it before it did whatever. It was rather secure in there however. There are two connections between the pan and the ECM... it fit nicely between them. THank goodness it didn't "Rattle" WOuld have been hard to find!! LOLOL

OK from the other forum a dodge tech helped me out to ID this part... It is an oil pipe fitting the factory uses to PRIME the system with oil from the factory.. It must have fallen when they were done but does not belong with the engine... Not worth a penny!! LOLOL

Nope, no vice grips used on that fitting. Those marks are from the tooling of the fitting.
