how long will a vp last

i would like to know how long my pump will it has be a year since i bought the truck i have a good lift pump fuel pressure gauge change fuel filter every 3000 miles run fuel lubricants big fuel line kit just wondering

Could last 1 to 200,000 miles... you never know.

My stocker lasted 220k miles! the first replacement lasted less then 2k miles and I am on my 3rd which is running strong (knocks on wood) Watch your pressure...the rest is up to a higher power

still the same injection pump and still going... hopely for a long time 194k miles

45k on the original vp44, 100K on the second one before a persistant p0216 code. It never died, but I replaced it with a hrvp and am hoping for another 100k+

I think it can last quite a while if you are careful about maintaining and monitoring the fuel pressure.

81k on my orginal, 3rd lift pump. Just replace with a hrvp and I have an impressive 340 miles on it so far.

4K on my original. (not a typo, 4,000 miles)

52K on the replacement.

Original lift pump.

182,000 miles and still on my original IP and LP, my fuel pressure never drops below 10 psi. Still going strong, knock on wood.

thanks for all the replys i dont want to spend more money on performance stuff and then the vp go out i want to get two more years out of it and then do a p7100 pump conversion
