long time starting
i just purchased a 2001 dodge ctd on friday. so far i love the truck. i also own an 89 1st gen. one thing im not sure about on the 01 is the amount of time it takes to start up. from the time i turn the key it takes about 5 or 6 seconds before it fires up. after it starts it runs great. it is the 24 valve. has anyone else had this problem or know what could cause it? i forgot to mention that when the truck is still warm it starts right up. its only when the motor is cold. im in florida so i know its not the weather. thanks for any input. Reed
