How long is the SB truck
Anyone know how long the 2nd gen club cab shortbox trucks are with 4x4?

Please don't hold me to this, but I think it's around 128", bumper to bumper. The thing I definately know is that it doesn't fit in my garage.

128" is only 10 feet 8 inches. My daughter's Acclaim is longer than that. If the box is 6'6", then the QC is only 4 feet 2 inches long.

So the length of a short bed club cab is prob 228"? lol
anywyas someone just mentioned to me that in 96 and 97, dodge never made a 12v club cab with a shortbed? is that true?/

I understand the reason for your question. The DC specs are vague in answering this. I went out and used my guaranteed +/- 1" accurate tape. I measured 220". I have standard bumpers. The reason I bought the SB is that it DOES fit in my garage (if I remember to take the camper off). Also the 2WD fits under a normal garage door with several inches clearance.

.With the 285's, I can just make it. If I sneeze while pulling in, the 'bounce' will cause me to hit the door.

Yes, the SB with QuadCab is the same (or nearly same) length as the longbed regular cab truck. However, the wheelbase is not the same, but within an inch of each other. Sounds silly but the two trucks have different ladder frames so there's no real reason to have exactly the same wheelbase.
