Long (er) cranking required to start

I did a search but I thought I'd ask again. Seems like the general "diagnosis" is bad injectors so I'm hoping that's not the problem.

My truck is an '06 and totally stock, about 16,000 miles on it...bought it new about 2 years ago. My last oil analysis at 15,000 miles indicated a little fuel in the oil, but that's somewhat normal given I'm mostly city driving (i.e. sitting in traffic a fair amount).

Anyway, the problem started a few days ago. It's taking slightly longer than usual to start, nothing excessive, but definately noticable. It used to fire up almost immediately, now it takes a bit longer.

Possible contributing factor...I was out of town for about a month and the truck wasn't driven at all. I do use a fuel additive that suppossedly helps prevent algae growth but I'm not ruling that out. Just drained the fuel filter (no water found) and that had no effect on the cranking time.

Should I be worried? What might be wrong with my truck? Thoughts, comments or suggestions?

Thanks!
Scot

Thanks for the link. I did read that thread but I wasn't sure. As far as I can tell, my long start problem is pretty consistent...it seems to happen all the time. I haven't noticed any smoke but will look closer tomorrow when I start it up cold.

I have received the service bulletin for the tank rollover valve in the mail from Chrysler, but haven't received any others. If you don't receive a notice, could you still benefit from the TSB?
