How long does it take?
I've been looking for '04 to appear and I just found a couple dealers in my area that are showing '04 3/4 ton diesel Rams now. The problem is that when I called the dealers, they tell me they don't expect any till late September. Anyone got any idea about how long it takes for it these trucks to appear on their lots? BTW, I didn't question them when I asked if they had any because I called them earlier today before I found out that they were appearing in their inventory.
TIA

Re:How long does it take?
I would guess they send the invoice when the truck is built and shipped. The invoice will take a couple of days transit time and the truck will take two or three weeks to ship. I would guess their internet site is linked to their invoices.
Also, Some dealers don't want you to know they have new inventory, if they still have simular old inventory. DC only pays the dealer 90 days of floor plan interest. After that it cost them for the interst charges. That pus it close to $6.00 a day for a $30,000.00 vehicle. That does not seem bad till you look at all the cars and trucks on the lot.
