Locking Hitch Pins??

Does anybody else have one of these? If so how hard is it for you to get the locking side of the pin off? I bought this thing a couple months ago and went to change my hitch to better fit the trailer I'm towing and the little bugger won't release from the pin. Just wondering if anybody knows a trick to get this thing off. I'm ready to cut it off and just use the normal pin.
Thanks.

You might try soaking it with WD40, it worked for me.

yep, had one but w/a weather proof cap on it. The pin was smaller so I had to change it out for a larger one (didn't know they were various sizes). Anyhow, use the same pin but drill out the clip hole and use a long shank master lock.

Beat if off with a hammer, they tend to snap. Cutting takes a long time.

I firmly think the locking pins most stores sell are junk.
I am of the other thinking, I just take a normal hitch pin and drill the hole for a Master padlock.
