Location specific Question - Where in NoVa to get tires installed?

Folks:

Now that I have my Buckstop bumper on order with my piaas (7 week delivery time), it is time to focus a bit on my tires for my truck. I have intention on replacing the stock wheels that came with the Laramie package as i do not have that type of money right now (may change if uncle sam is kind with the tax check). Now I know 285/70/17's fit without issue, as do Nitto Terra Grapplers at 295/70/17's. I have read that 305's fit without issue as well, but when I went to a local shop they seemed reluctant in installing them on the stock rims.

So the question is this - for all those running around with "upsized" tires what do I need to do to get them installed ?

Thanks
TIM

My dad works for Pep Boys and I took my 315s there to be mounted. They didn't question the size of the tires at all. Any performance place should be able to do it. Try HubCap Heaven.....

NTB did mine with slight resistance nevertheless it got done. I think with all the lawsuit happy people out there the tire shops are worried about liability issues.

The tire shop in Leesburgh should be able to help you out. I have not dealt with them directly but have heard decent things about them. If you find someplace great let me know. I am currently in the process of doing the same thing (unless I find a great deal on some H2 rims and tires) I found a guy in MD that can and will machine the H2 rims to fit perfectly.
