Alright, lets start figuring out what we want to do for our next meet. Do we want to do it locally and this month or do we do it locally next month or do we have another meet mixing the chapters at the DHRA in Houston in October?

I won't be able to make it to Baytown in October so I'd be up for a local meet around here either this month, next month, or both.

OK, I see we're not getting a big response on this. Once again, weekend or week day better for everyone?

I don't see why not. Your welcome by me, and I'm sure everyone else won't mind.

As for a meeting, I'm fine with having it at Randy's if that's cool with him. [laugh] How about Wednesday of next week, the 24th? Just trying to get the ball rolling.

Duallydog is the one you need to talk to because he's the official chapter president. However, I don't really think there's anything necessary to become an actual "member."

What? Nothing is required to become a member? Then why did Mr. PreZident and Vice PreZident say in order for me to get in I had to drink flat hot beer out of an enema bag while spinning in circles outside the TSU police station?

I think we're gonna have to have a talk about initiation protocols at the next meeting...whenever it is...

So yeah...when is it?

I think at randys place would be good. I've got some cab lights to put on my truck if we wanna make that the project to tackle

That wasn't for membership initiation, that was the initiation for being the Scapegoat.

Well, guess I'll be missing this one again. I'll be in town all this week then wont be back till the 28th. I'm trying to plan on going to Baytown though. Just bought another truck too, still have the 06 though. Take care and maybe when we have a meet for Oct. my truck I bought will be all rigged out with what I ordered and all. See ya'll sometime, hopefully soon. Thanks Randy and Matt for the help on my 06.

Oh. Well your place in stephenville is fine too, as long as its daylight. I'm not measuring and drilling holes in my roof in the dark[laugh]. I'll go out and look at it the next morning and they'll be facing backwards[dummy]

It'll be mostly day light. During the week I won't stay later that 10pm and I'm thinking have everyone meet at 6:30 at Randy's, or we can meet at a food joint for supper then go to Randy's (That way he can lead us there). And who can make it for next Thursday?

EatMySmoke

I should be able to make it next Thursday. Going to eat somewhere before sounds like a plan to me.

I can make it for sure. Wives or no Wives?

Duallydog
09-18-2008, 05:43 PM
Wives are optional, just depends on how well she likes talking trucks. And also as a warning, we don't have big turn outs for meetings. I need to get on the ball and get stuff printed up for the club, I just never remember to both minutes that I have time.

Sounds good, so 6:30 Thursday at Jack in the Box sound good? Or would ya'll like a different food location?

I'm trying to decide between taking the Writing Proficiency Exam (not sure if there are any spots left) or going to the meeting, but I would much rather go to the meeting. [laugh] If I go, Jack in the Box sounds fine with me. Who all can make it on Thursday? So far Randy, Matt, Brady...anyone else?

Have any of you guys seen a black, regular cab, 2 wheel drive 1st gen around town? I just saw it on campus today and wondered if anyone else has seen it.

I'll do my best man. Hey anybody wana make a run to temple saturday night? Theres supposed to be a big diesel deal down there. On the third gen forum, theres about 20 or 30 guys coming up from the austin area, and a few going from up here. Thought itd be cool if we could get a bunch of us and head down there. Its supposed to be all diesels, I think its 15 bucks to run all night. Starts at 6

mcolectd
09-24-2008, 11:33 AM
Nevermind, I won't be going. Its 2.5 hours away, and I don't have the money to spare for diesel right now
