"Yes, Nurse... a whole bottle..."

No problem Keegan!![laugh] We certainly did have some fun with that stuff both at the Durham Event and more recently there in Greensboro. I didn't realize I gave such a "devious" look in that one photo though.[laugh] BTW,.....Brian Buchanan is the one helping me hold that bottle there!

Thanks Mark.

The cost to fill the 10lb. nitrous bottles varies from shop to shop Mark, but I have been paying anywhere from $25.00-$30.00 depending on who does it.

Oh no you didn't! [laugh]

I'm sure John's only "twirling" would have been his night stick as he threatened to crack some drunk over the head with it back in his cop days.

You don't want John lookin at you like that do you??

what were the before and after nitrous numbers?

UnrulyNFS
06-10-2008, 09:54 PM
Haha, those are some funny ones guys!!

As far as numbers, I think people have seen between 60 and 100 hp with the "special nitrous engagement system" pictured above. Could have been more. Just watch the video madhat posted. That stream of nitrous was awesome. [laugh]

Anybody know the actual numbers?

Those numbers are right. One thing we tried not to do was to spray too much in those trucks and blow a headgasket or something!:o As you can see, on Mark's (madhat) truck he gained 101 H.P.! But,.....I gave him the most nitrous too![laugh]

I hear that the HG's on the 3rd gens are as good as any aftermarket HG. Just gotta keep the head on them tight...

There are a few on here that have really worked to find that limit. I keep a healthy dose of diesel bug vaccine in my system so I hopefully won't have to find out.

I've heard of the Glad(not mad)Dr. N_P being sighted in other states. I have magazine proof. Keep watching for more photographed sightings...maybe near you!

I don't know about that Mark! While I would agree, the 3rd Gen Headgaskets are better than those on the older 12 valve or 24 valve engines, there are still PLENTY of them that have let go with studs. Here is a "short list" for you of the guys that I know of here: masonic_dodge, Unruly NFS, Timinva. And in no way do I feel that the stock 3rd Gen HG's are as good as the set-up I have on my 1996 Dodge CTD. Although, that is close to "overkill."[laugh]

John, no arguement with you on that one. I was just commenting on how well they hold up for stock.
