Link for Gauge Install?

I know there is a good one out there with pictures and detailed instructions, just cant remember the link. Anybody have it off hand? Also, what extras am I going to need? Can I tap my tranny hot line with brass fittings like on the 2nd Gens for a good reading? Thanks!

Is a boost bolt necessary or is tapping the intake just as good?

I think we may need to know what gauges you are using.
I drilled and tapped my exhaust manifold in about 30 minutes this morning to install my Westach dual gauge. They didn't send me the boost bolt but I had a brass fitting the same size as the pyro fitting so I drilled and tapped the intake too. That took another 15 minutes...
I'm really glad I finally got some gauges in my truck...

Well, they should come with instructions. It's pretty easy if you have any kind of experience with hooking up electronics in vehicles.
Heck, even I can do it!!!

I installed my gauges on my 12 valve. Im not concerned with level of difficulty, just want to make sure Im putting things in the right place. Also, the diesel manor instructions only shows one hot wire to use. Should I splice all three hot wires into one and then connect that wire to the power source? Making the electrical connections properly is my main concern.

That's how I usually do it. That way it's easier to trace an issue. If one gauge stops working you knows it's probably the gauge. If all stop working then you know to look at the single power source. I usually do the same with the grounds...

Cool, Ill go that route. Does it matter where you drill the intake manifold? Front or back, left or right? Not that it makes a difference on the reading but for ease of installation or interference with any other components.

Doesn't matter just do it in the easiest accessible place for you. And make darn well sure you don't get any shavings in the intake. If you're not taking the intake off stuff a clean rag up there then pull it out when you're done.

Ill remove it. Too much at stake right there not to. Is it adviseable to drill the exhaust manifold with the truck running? I know it might not be the best idea with moving parts and what not but it would just blow everything right back out at you wouldnt it? I dropped my turbo on my 12 valve and put a piece of cardboard in between the two flanges.
