You may have seen my post in Help re my Ram, in the end it totaled out to be $820 and they only charged 4 hours labor and cost on parts since it took so long to diagnose. Since I got the truck it has had plenty of power but at about 1900RPM the smoke went from black to white. Now after getting it back from the shop it's nice solid black all the way to 2400RPM. They replaced the fuel filter housing, water sensor, lift pump and fuel filter. They saved the old parts and the cracks in everything were nasty looked like an engine block after being frozen with no sign on impact or anything. It's a wonder how well a 12V will run when your getting pure diesel w/o any air. They finally found everything by pressurizing the fuel system to 16PSI and following the fuel spray.
