Lifted Mega Cab Mileage?'s

I'm looking into buying a mega cab, after a friend of mine totaled my truck in signature on the day before christmas eve. Looking at 2 trucks - 1 is an 06' 2500 with 6" lift and 35x12.50x20 tires and 20x9 wheels. Salesman says that previous owner installed lift about 10k miles ago and claimed 18 mpg on the highway. Any where close to being right or total bs? What kind of mileage are you guys with lifts and bigger tires seeing? If not that great the second truck is another 06 w/ 20 inch rims and 305/55/20 tires with stock suspension of course. FYI if you end up with 7900 dollars in body damage you're screwed. My 24 valve is sitting at 260,003 miles. Too many according to insurance company. Oh well bring on the MAN-VAN! Thanks

I don't get it...

My '07 5.9 only gets 12 to 16 hand-calc on stock rubber!!!

I guess I need a lift and some 35's to get my mileage up

I get 19 going 75 with my Smarty Beta 4.3 on 9. It only drops 3mpg pulling my 25ft boat, weighing in at around 6k.

you lucky. mine drops down to around 10 i think. it pulls it great, i can run 95 all day long and my temps stay in check, but even just crusing 65, the old girl is thristy. my boats a hair under 28' but its tall so im sure it catches alot of wind

Yah I noticed a big difference when they put my T-top/canopy on the boat. I haven't pulled the boat since I got the 35's, wonder what it will get now????

Probably do. When I put on the 35s it helped to signifigantly lower RPMs.

I am getting about 17.5-18 on summer fuel...I have not had the heart to check winter fuel mileage.
